Sri Kesheo Prasad Dubey

Shri Kesheo Prasad Dubey, B.E. (Civil Engineering) is an Indian Forest Service (IFS) Officer of the 1987 Batch, Uttar Pradesh Cadre. He retired as the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (Wildlife) & Chief Wildlife Warden (CWLW), Environment, Forest and Climate Change Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow.

More than three illustrious decades (over 35 years) of dedicated service have passed with diverse responsibilities, opportunities, and accomplishments in the field of Nature and Natural Resource Management. During his distinguished career, he has worked extensively in Wildlife Conservation, Biosphere Reserve and National Park Management, Forest Protection, Conservation and Management, Silviculture, Forest Seed and Research Management, Agroforestry, Forest Land Settlement and Land Records, Forest Land Diversion, Mine Environment Management, Abandoned Mine Ecology and Eco-restoration, Zoo Management (Kanpur Zoo), Urban Forestry, Green Highways, Industrial Green Belt Management, Forest Timber and Fuelwood Management, Tendu Patta and Medicinal Plant Management, and Non-Timber Forest Produce (NTFP) Harvest Management, among other areas.

He has also published numerous articles, review notes, and research papers in journals and magazines of national and international repute. He has the rare distinction of receiving an Appreciation Certificate from the then Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh for his outstanding contribution during the auspicious Kumbh Mela 2013, the world's largest religious congregation, organized at the sacred Sangam in Allahabad (now Prayagraj) between January and March 2013.

Shri Kesheo Prasad Dubey, IFS, has also been empanelled as an Independent External Monitor (IEM) and has had the opportunity to serve as an IEM for two esteemed Government of India organizations, namely the Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC) and the Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI).
